What do I love about photography? Actually, that’s a good question. There are a few different things I love about photography.

1. I love the way people feel when they see themselves looking awesome in their photos. I don’t think people realize just how awesome they are sometimes until they see themselves through the lens of someone else. When a client sees themselves and they’re like awestruck and can’t believe that the person in the image is them is one of the coolest things in the world to me. People often judge themselves too harshly so I think it is refreshing and sometimes life-changing to see how someone else sees them.
2. I love the creativity of photography. Photography allows me to stretch my creative wings. There is so much that can be done with photography both in-camera and via image editing software. I love pushing myself to see what I can create. I love being able to build characters, create their costumes, and photograph some magic!
3. I love being able to meet new people through photography. So I’m naturally an introvert. I’m not sure if you can tell lol. My natural habitat is at home on my computer or just chilling with the hubby. Being that I’m a homebody without my photography, I probably wouldn’t meet nearly as many people as I’ve met this past year. Photography pushes me out of my introverted bubble and forces me to meet new people. These new people could be clients, vendors, or other photographers.

So yeah, those are just a few things I love about photography. I am definitely glad I decided to pick up a camera and start my photography journey!
