Hey guys! It’s Tcha (pronounced Shay) of Black Queen Photography. I just wanted to do a quick post where I share three fun facts about Black Queen Photography.

1. The name Black Queen Photography has a double meaning. So I choose the name Black Queen Photography for two reasons. One is well obvious…I’m Black and I’m a Queen so it just makes sense right lol? The second less obvious reason is that I’m a bit of (okay, maybe a lot) a geek and so I wanted to incorporate that into my business name. One of the geeky things I do is play chess. The Black Queen is one of the most powerful pieces on the chess board. I want my clients to feel empowered during their experience with me.
2. I’m a published photographer. You read that right, your girl is an officially published photographer. Now I haven’t been published in like Vogue or anything lol, but I have had the pleasure of being published in VZSN Magazine and Exposed Magazine. 3. Purple glitter Converses. You’re probably thinking what lol? Purple glitter Converses may or may not be a part of the outfit that I show up in for your photoshoot. I love to add a little bit of my own sparkle to the photoshoots I put together.
