You have created some amazing products. You’ve done your research and found a product photographer that can bring your vision to life. You have some amazing product photos…what do you do with them? That’s easy. Here are 3 ways to use your product photos.
I know this seems obvious, but you can use your photos on your various social media platforms. Your photos will be great to share on Instagram (because it is a visual platform). With Instagram pushing more reels/videos, you can also create a slideshow video with your photos so your products can get even more visibility. They are great to share on Twitter when talking about your business and your products. What I like about Twitter is that it will let you post a full resolution image. This way you don’t have to worry about your product photos looking weird from compression.
Again, this may seem obvious, but put those bad boys on your website. You may have a lot of potential customers that visit your website several times over an extended time before they decide to purchase from you. If that’s the case, you want to make sure they see some new product photos every now and then.
If you’re new and starting out, professional photos will help your brand stand out. Your website will look more professional and potential customers may view your brand as more professional.
I highly recommend using your product photos for your marketing material. Your marketing material can be digital, prints, or both (which I recommend). If you’re like me and can’t afford to hire a marketing manager, you can use Canva to help you create some marketing material. I use Canva all the time to create marketing materials for giveaways, specials, and more. I think the marketing material is much more effective when you use your photos instead of stock images. The cool thing about Canva is that you can create printable versions of your marketing material as well as digital. (The link is an affiliate link.)
So there you have it. There are three ways you can use your product photos. Consider trying these out when trying to build your online presence and get more people to find you. Let me know if I missed any!
