Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I’m hoping you are able to spend time with those you care about. I know with COVID running rampant last year, we weren’t really able to travel to spend Thanksgiving with family and friends. We will be celebrating this year with some local family and friends. Since this is the season of giving thanks, I wanted to share with y’all a couple of things I am thankful for:
I’m so thankful for all of my family and friends. I don’t get to see visit with some of my family and friends all the time. However, I am still grateful to have them in my life. I have been blessed with some very supportive family and friends and I know that’s not something every person gets. They are always so encouraging and loving.
This program by Dr. Tomayia Colvin has been instrumental in growing my photography business. I have learned so much on how to improve my photography business from the Momentum Mastermind class. It pushed out of my comfort zone. I have received the necessary tools to be successful. The Momentum Mastermind has also helped me develop some lifelong friendships. My fellow mastermind-ers help keep me on track and focused in growing my business.
I know this may be a little weird to say as a small business owner, but I am thankful for my 9-to-5 job. My 9-to-5 job gave me the financial support and security to be more willing to take more risks and turn down jobs that weren’t willing to pay my asking rate. My 9-to-5 also helped me be able to continue to pay my rent and purchase the items I needed (and wanted) even when COVID was at its strongest. I know some people were laid-off due to COVID, so I’m thankful that I was able to keep my job.
2021 has been an interesting year. We are not yet completely done with COVID. The world is not quite back to normal (not sure if it ever will be). That being said, I am so thankful for this year. It has brought me a lot of great things. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings as well as 2022. What are you thankful for?
P. S. Check out my Thanksgiving blog post from last year.
