In the famous words of Jay-Z, allow me to re-introduce myself lol. For today’s blog post I just wanted to re-introduce Black Queen Photography (and myself) at the start of 2021. Black Queen Photography is my photography business. I have had my photography business for a little over two years. Who am I you may ask? I’m a Southern girl living in a West Coast world and enjoying life as a photographer. Photography is actually my part-time job right now. I also work at full-time 9 to 5 so I normally do sessions on the weekends or late afternoons.

Black Queen Photography focuses on two types of photography: portraits and personal brand (aka business). Portrait photography can consist of a lot of different types: maternity, couples, families, individuals, etc. Personal brand photography can consist head shots and branded photos that focus on highlighting what makes a person’s brand unique.

I do my best to provide each client with a unique, but first-class experience. When you hire me as your photographer, whether for portraits or personal brand, you aren’t just hiring me to show up and press a button. Nope, I do so much more than that. I provide each client with a consultation, emails on how to prepare for your session, and more.

For my portrait sessions, I like to deal in photographic products. I want each portrait client to have at least one piece of art that they can display in their home, whether that is a canvas or an album. I want each client to have a piece of art that they can show off to family and friends and also pass down to future generations.

For my personal brand sessions, I don’t necessarily deal in photographic products because most personal brand clients don’t need physical copies of their images because they need their images to be displayed on social media or their website. I provide these clients with high-resolution digital images sized for various social media platforms.
